These platforms work perfectly well for a standard catalogue. They become restrictive as soon as your business steps outside the expected mould: per-client tiered pricing, quote before order, made-to-measure cutting, unusual shipping rules. In those cases custom code costs less in the long run than stacking paid extensions, and there is no commission on your sales.
Through an approved payment provider, Stripe or a banking solution depending on your bank. Card numbers never pass through your site or our servers, which relieves you of the heaviest PCI compliance. You track incoming payments from your dashboard.
