The context
FacileOutil is an internal project, built and funded by Zelyntis. The starting idea fit in one sentence: gather in one place the small tools everyone uses daily and hunts for on a different site every time. It also serves as a testing ground, where technical choices are proven at real scale before being offered on client projects.
The problem
Professionals and individuals use small web tools every day (converters, calculators, generators) but these tools are scattered across dozens of slow, ad-heavy, unreliable websites. A centralized, fast and clean platform was missing.
Searching for "PDF converter" or "password generator" returns pages covered in ad banners, demanding a sign-up or uploading the file to a server nobody knows anything about. The tool ends up costing more time and attention than the problem it was meant to solve.
The solution
Web platform gathering over 80 tools (calculation, conversion, SEO, development, text, image...), with a unified interface, minimal loading time and no intrusive advertising. Architecture designed for continuous addition of new tools and long-tail SEO on utility queries.
One address per tool
Every tool has its own URL, title and description. That is what lets the platform surface on hundreds of specific searches rather than on one generic query it could never win. A page that answers one question exactly ranks better than a page that vaguely answers fifty.
Adding a tool without touching the others
The architecture separates each tool's own logic from the shared interface. Adding the eighty-first tool does not mean revisiting the previous eighty. Without that separation, a platform like this becomes impossible to grow past thirty or so entries.
Staying light on every page
A visitor who arrives to convert a file leaves if the page takes four seconds to show. Each tool loads only what it needs, with no bulky shared library pulled in on every page. That is what makes moving from one tool to the next feel instant.
Tech stack
The result
SEO traffic on several hundred long-tail keywords, a scalable platform that keeps growing, a project that serves as a lab to test technical approaches reusable on client projects.
- Over 80 tools online, each with its own address
- Search traffic spread across several hundred long-tail queries
- No intrusive advertising, no sign-up to use a tool
- A technical foundation later reused on client projects
Frequently asked questions
What is long-tail SEO?
These are precise, low-frequency searches such as "convert kilos to pounds", as opposed to heavily contested generic ones. Taken one by one they weigh little, but added together they often exceed the traffic from major queries, and they are far easier to reach.
Why does Zelyntis build its own projects?
Because an internal project can be pushed further than a client one: an architecture can be tested, broken and rebuilt without consequence. What proves solid is then reused, and the client gets work already put through its paces rather than an experiment run on their budget.
Can this model be applied to a business?
Yes, and it is one of the most cost-effective content strategies there is. A business that publishes a tool or calculator useful to its sector attracts qualified visitors continuously, without buying advertising. An online quote form, a simulator or a comparison tool all serve that purpose.
